SIG at The Hudson School: Program Options
SIG at The Hudson School is a Day Program with Extended Day Supervision available.
Day Students
The Summer Institute for the Gifted Day Program provides instruction in several dozen courses during its regular academic schedule and engages students in recreational activities every day. Courses are taught at levels appropriate for gifted students who are ages 4-12, covering humanities, mathematics, sciences, and multi-disciplinary courses. Please see individual campuses for ages specific to each campus.
Extended Day Students
SIG will provide supervised play, social, study and rest time before and after the regular program. The extended day schedule is as follows:
7:45 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. daily
4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily or
4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. daily
The cost for this three-week service is $150 for morning supervision and $150 for each one-hour segment of the afternoon supervision. Arrangements and payments for the service are to be made prior to the start of the program through the Summer Institute for the Gifted office.
With 24-hour advanced noticed and program confirmation, hourly drop-in care is available at $15/hour.
4 Year Old Program
The 4-year-old program offers three options to meet the needs of young students. 4-year olds may attend half-day morning from 8:45am - noon for $997.50, a half day afternoon from 1:00 - 4:00 pm for $997.50, or a full-day with lunch from 8:45 am - 4:00 pm for $1,995.
