American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS)

A special benefit enjoyed by the NSGT is its unique relationship with the American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS), Inc. AIFS is one of the oldest and largest organizations providing cultural exchange and study abroad programs. More than one million people from 100 countries have participated in AIFS programs since its founding in 1964. The NSGT works closely with AIFS, which provides marketing, logistical and technical assistance for the Summer Institute for the Gifted. For more information on AIFS, visit www.aifs.com.

AIFS College Study Abroad
The College Division provides quality study abroad programs for an academic year, a semester or a summer at tuition fees the average student can afford. This academic year and summer, more than 5,000 American full-time students are studying abroad through AIFS.

NSGT University Prep
The NSGT University Prep Program is an intensive 3-week summer program focused on assisting college-bound students to increase their SAT scores and in becoming savvy applicants as they face the ins and outs of the college application and admissions process.

Au Pair in America – live-in child care with a cultural flair
Au Pair in America makes it possible for nearly 4,000 eager and skilled young adults from around the world to join American families and help care for their children during a mutually rewarding, year-long cultural exchange experience.

Academic Year in America – high school exchange
Nearly 1,000 students come from more than 25 countries around the world to live with American families and attend local high schools for five or 10 months. For the AYA student it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Camp America – bringing the world to camp
Camp America arranges for more than 8,000 international students to spend the summer in the United States working as camp counselors and support staff.

Located in Boston, ACIS provides quality educational travel for approximately 20,000 American high school students and teachers each year.
