Summer Institute for the Gifted at Harpeth Hall
About Harpeth Hall

With a 143-year legacy, Harpeth Hall School has provided a stellar education for girls and young women and motivated them to achieve their greatest potential by ensuring that students receive every opportunity, not just equal opportunity.

The spacious campus for grades 5-12, which is nestled in the heart of a historic residential neighborhood, resembles a small liberal arts college. Harpeth Hall's mission is for each student to realize her highest intellectual ability, become fluent in the sciences, the humanities, and the arts, and discover her creative and athletic talents. The school develops responsible citizens who make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world for the goals of thinking critically, leading confidently, and living honorably.

Harpeth Hall has produced many distinguished alumnae. Among them are actress and producer Reese Witherspoon, recording artist Amy Grant Gill, and Olympic medal winners Tracy Caulkins Stockwell (swimming) and Linden Wiesman (equestrian events).

Even if you are not a local, come spend three wonderful weeks in the heart of Grand Ole Opry country, learning during the day and enjoying the Southern charm of Nashville in the evening.
