* Many campuses offer some single dorm rooms. Single rooms are available on a first come, first served
basis for a fee of $250. If we are unable to accommodate your single room request and you have paid
the extra $250, this amount will be refunded.
^ The World Class Coverage Insurance Protection Plan is available for purchase for an additional cost of
$75.

Refund Policy
Refund Policy - Residential and Day Programs
Prior to the Start of SIG
Because SIG must hire staff and confirm space at its host institutions long before the start of the summer sessions, we are unable to make program refunds to students who cancel after June 1st. If a program is terminated or canceled, SIG will consider the circumstances and may, in its sole discretion, issue a partial refund or credit.
Under no circumstances, medical or otherwise, will SIG refund the $95 application fee due at the time the application is submitted.
Refund Policy - Beyond Programs
Because SIG must hire staff and confirm space at its host institutions prior to the start of the sessions, we are unable to make program refunds to students who cancel less than 3 weeks prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be made after the start of the program.
Under no circumstances, medical or otherwise, will SIG refund the $95 application fee due at the time the application is submitted.
Financial Aid & Scholarships

Apply for financial assistance for the SIG Beyond Summer Online Learning Program Download and complete the Online Program Financial Assistance form to be considered for a scholarship. Please note that a limited number of full scholarships are available; please see the form for more information. |
All other funds for the 2013 program year have been depleted.
If you still require financial assistance, you can apply for an NSGT Board of Trustees Scholarship.
In an effort to provide increased assistance for 2014, NSGT will be hosting a fundraiser, Mission Possible, on May 9, 2013. 100% of proceeds from this event will go toward scholarships for gifted education.

NSGT Board of Trustees Scholarships
NSGT Board of Trustees Scholarship
The NSGT Board of Trustees Scholarship is a prestigious award given each year to NSGT students who wish to pursue their passions for learning in educational programs offered beyond the school day or year. Previous student applications included requests to attend gifted summer, online, and weekend programs.
16 Scholarships: (4) $250, (6) $500, (6) $1,000
Scholarship funds may only be used to help pay tuition for programs that employ gifted and talented educational practices through eligibility, strategies, content, and/or application of learned information. Future program participation only will be considered and must commence by August 31, 2013. NSGT will remit all scholarship money awarded directly to the program organization.
Applications must be received by March 19, 2013.

Returning Student Discount
Returning students earn the following savings on their SIG program fee*:
- Returning SIG Residential Student (Deadline: April 30th): $500
- Returning SIG Commuter Student (Deadline: April 30th): $250
- Returning SIG Day Program Student (Deadline: April 30th): $250
* Discounts cannot be applied towards the application fee. All discounts will be applied to your final balance.
