A non-refundable application fee of $100 is required for SIG Summer programs. SIG accepts e-check (preferred method), Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Application Tips & Info

When to Apply

  • Admission to the Summer Institute for the Gifted program is on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis for qualified students. Applications are processed upon receipt and may require two weeks for review. Admission to the Summer Institute for the Gifted program shall be granted or denied at the sole discretion of SIG. Applications will be accepted only if space is available. The $100 non-refundable application fee must accompany your completed, online application (the fee is waived for SIG Alumni). You will be billed for the program fees upon acceptance. 
  • Students applying after the program deadline will be considered based on program space availability.
  • We encourage students to get their applications in early to secure a spot in their preferred program!

The Application Process

  • Submit your application prior to, or in conjunction with, eligibility documents. This process will speed the admissions decision.
  • Be consistent with one name on all documents.
  • Be consistent with one primary email address as all communications are sent to the primary email only.
  • Please note: Returning students do not need to re-submit eligibility documents and will have access to a shorter and faster application. New students should make every effort to submit eligibility documents at the time of application to facilitate processing.
  • If you did not attach your eligibility documents during the application process, email your documents to admissions@giftedstudy.org. Eligibility documents are only required for first-year applicants.

  • If you have applied and/or have been accepted to one program, but would like to switch to a program at another campus/or to an online program, please email Admissions directly at admissions@giftedstudy.org.
    • There is a $750 change fee for campus changes from May 1 prior to June 1. After June 1, campus changes are not permitted.
    • There is a $500 fee for campus date changes from May 1 prior to June 1. After June 1, program changes are not permitted.
