Located in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C., Georgetown has a warm and nurturing campus community amid a global city. Students can experience the history and culture of D.C. or choose a quiet spot on campus to connect with friends. SIG brings stem summer programs with engaging courses into the heart of Washington D.C. at Georgetown University.

Overview

Campus Life & Activities

Student activities enhance the challenging academic curriculum through additional social and cultural interaction. Surrounded by like-minded peers, gifted students are more likely to feel comfortable expressing themselves and showcasing their talents. During recreational activities, students are encouraged to work and recreate together, support each other, share their unique interests, and have fun. During academic evening workshops (residential programs only), students prepare students for success in the 21st century world.

  • 8:30 - 9 am Breakfast (Commuter Students Arrive: 8:45 am)
  • 9:15 - 11:45am Period 1
  • 12:00 - 1:00pm Lunch

  • 2:15-4:45 pm Period 2
  • 5-6 pmRecreation Hour
  • 6:15 - 7 pm Dinner (Commuter Students Depart: 6:15 pm)
