May 10th, 2019 — New SIG Vaccination Policy

SIG is a Non-Profit organization subject to governmental regulation. We have a clear responsibility, based upon our mission as well as the law, to protect vulnerable populations and to ensure the safety and well-being of all our students.

Therefore, effective 5/10/2019 all students and staff must have, or obtain, the mandatory immunizations below and show proof of vaccination.

  • Measles
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Chicken Pox
  • Tetanus
  • Hepatitis B
  • Diphtheria
  • Pneumococcal Conjugate (PCV13)
  • Polio

Proof of vaccination needs to be accepted before the first day of the program. For students who arrive to campus without the required medical documentation, and who are unable to provide proof of immunization, SIG reserves the right to send the students home at their parents’ expense, and no refund will be issued. A review of our refund policy is available at https://www.giftedstudy.org/fees.asp.  If you have any questions about this requirement, please reach out to Admissions at admissions@giftedstudy.org.

We are excited to get our summer programs started and look forward to working with all our families in the safest and most fun environment possible. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation as we maneuver through this challenging health and safety issue.
