Princeton University does not have any affiliation with SIG other than to rent space and provide food service to SIG on its campus.
SIG students and staff are usually housed in Whitman College, one of Princeton’s six residential colleges. Inaugurated in 2007, Whitman College has housed the SIG program in six different residence halls, in addition to offering academic and communal spaces via its dining hall, lounges and dance studio. Uniquely situated in the heart of Princeton’s campus, Whitman College offers easy access to Dillon Gym, Princeton classrooms, and Nassau Street, which affords students the opportunity to explore Princeton’s thriving academic, commercial, and creative community. SIG has been fortunate to enjoy classroom space in both Jadwin Hall and McDonnell Hall, which provide students and faculty with one-of-a-kind laboratory space and world-class lecture halls. When not in class, students have the opportunity to explore the Princeton Art Museum, Prospect Gardens, Frist Campus Center, and other cultural venues on campus.
The SIG Program located on the campus is a Residential Program. An Extended Commuter Program is also available.
