Overview
Located in Ann Arbor, one of America’s quintessential college towns, our SIG at Michigan program offers students a vibrant, college setting just 40 minutes from the heart of Detroit. Ann Arbor, famous for being the home of the University of Michigan, is a magical place to spend part of your summer while developing your academic potential.
In our programs you'll connect with experienced gifted and talented instructors that bring hands-on-learning into the classroom. Take some of our STEAM+ courses while building friendships and life skills that will help you in your schooling and beyond.
Student Activities
Surrounded by like-minded peers, SIG students can feel comfortable expressing themselves and being their unique selves. SIG activities, planned with our students’ interests in mind, offer a plethora of recreational and social opportunities. From sports to arts and crafts to exploring the unique venues each campus offers, students will engage in organized activities each day of the session.
Daily Schedule & Sample Schedule
- 8 - 8:45am Before Care (Drop Off: 8:45am)
- 9 - 11:30am Period 1 (Half Day PM Drop Off: 11:30am)
- 11:45am-12:15pm Lunch
- 1:2:15-1pm Socialization & Play (Half Day AM Pick Up: 1pm)
- 1:15-3:45pmPeriod 2
- 4pmPick Up
- 4-5pm After Care

The University of Michigan is located in Ann Arbor, MI, about 40 minutes outside of Detroit. The closest major airport is Detroit Metropolitan (DTW).
